Z: Ziyarah – Alphabet of Friendship

In the hush of night, my heart yearns and turns,
Ziyarah deep, to Imam Mahdi, it earns.
“Part your lips,” a whispered counsel nears,
Sincere heart-to-heart, all doubts it clears.
“I bear witness, my words reach your ear,”
Proof of Allah, witness my tear.
Between Allah and me, sins take their toll,
To you, O Imam, my plea takes its toll.
In shadows of guilt, where no solace is found,
Your intercession, my soul’s sacred ground.
O Mahdi, guide this wayward heart,
From the flames, grant a fresh start.

Imam Ali al-Hadi (peace be upon him):
“If you have a need (from your Imam who is far away from you), move your lips (from wherever you are), for the answer will come to you.”
