SILEH IN HADITH

There are multiple hadiths on the importance of giving out part of our wealth as a gift to the holy progeny of our prophet (Peace be upon him & his holy progeny). This is also called Sileh. Here we gathered a few of them.
Also, it is important to know that there is a chapter in Usul Kafi called Sileh to the Imam.

Abuabdillah, Imam Sadiq May Allah hasten His reappearance , said:

A dirham( a unit of money)  paid to the Imam is better than thousands of dirhams paid for other good causes.

Imam Sadiq May Allah hasten His reappearance  :
Do not abandon giving Sileh from what you own to the Family of Muhammad The wealthy as much as they can and the deprived as little as they can, should persist with this.
Whoever wants Allah to grant his most important request, he must spend part of the money which he needs most as Sileh for the holy progeny of prophet Mohammad and their Shia.

Imam Sadiq narrated from his father May Allah hasten His reappearance :
Whoever ends a complete year, without spending a large or a small sum of his wealth as Sileh to us (AhlulBayt), on the day of Judgement, Allah will not look at him with mercy. Unless Allah forgives him.
