N: Nectar – Alphabet of Friendship

I tasted all that this world could offer
But all that I could taste was bitter
For it lingered on my tongue
And it stung.
So I yearned for a nectar that would empower
And what I found was heaven’s flower
A nectar sweeter than a honey glaze
And brighter than the sun’s rays
For one drop of this zest and you’re entranced
As the more you taste
The more you chase.

Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (Peace be upon Him):
“So, whoever from the nation of Muhammad (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) recognizes his duties towards his Imam (acknowledges the Imam’s rights upon the nation), indeed finds the taste of the nectar sweetness of his faith.”
