THE FADAK SERMON – PART 17

127- Indeed, I have expressed what I said with full awareness of the betrayal that has infiltrated you and the treachery that your hearts have sensed

128- However, it is the overflow of the soul, the outburst of anger, the frailty of support, the fragility of your certainty, the expression of the chest pain, and the completion of my argument by cutting off your excuse

129- So now, seize the reins of the caliphate (or Fadak) and proceed. Mount the camel, for its back bears wounds, its bones are shattered, its life is feeble, its legs are broken, and its blemish and disgrace persist. It is marked with the wrath of the Almighty and eternal shame, tethered to the ignited fire of Allah that blazes forth, ‘A fire that has ignited the hearts and enveloped them like columns (of fire) raised to the sky.’ (Al-Humaza, 104:  6-9)

فَدُونَكُمُوها فَاحْتَقِبُوها مُدْبِرَةَ الظَّهْرِ، مَهِيضَةَ الْعَظْمِ، خَوْراءَ الْقَناةِ، ناقِبَةَ الْخُفِّ، باقِيَةَ الْعارِ، مَوْسُومَةً بِغَضَبِ الْجَبّارِ وَ شَنارِ الْأَبَدِ، مَوْصُولَهً‏ بِـ {ـنارِ اللّهِ الْمُوقَدَةِ، الَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الْاَفْئِدَةِ، اِنَّها عَلَيْهِمْ مُؤْصَدَةٌ، فى عَمَدٍ مُمَدَّدَةٍ}

130- So, what you commit is in the sight of God, “and soon the oppressors will know to what place they will be turned back.” (Ash-Shu’ara, 26: 227)

فَبِعَيْنِ‏ اللّهِ ما تَفْعَلُونَ {وَ سَيَعْلَمُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَىَّ مُنْقَلَبٍ يَنْقَلِبُونَ}
