L: Light – Alphabet of Friendship

Our whole lives we’ve wandered in the darkness,
Searching for the light.
When all along, it has been hidden in plain sight,
The star to our dust,
The earth to our crust,
The light in our bones,
A Constellation on his own.
For he is life’s compass; the north star,
Guiding us from afar,
And lighting dark skies,
For he isn’t just a wonder to our eyes,
As one gaze and he shall make galaxies of you and I.

Imam Ali al-Ridha (Peace be upon Him):
“The Imam is a luminous moon, a bright lamp, shining light and a guiding star in the darkness”
