When others stole my breath away
He would plant a bouquet
In the chambers of my chest
Pockets of peonies for my unrest
As he was the very breath to my air
For these lungs were him, the pair
As they were two wings
Held up by the two weighty things
For I wouldn’t be able to breathe if I had none
And it would have been hard if I only had one
But when blessed with both parts
It’s simply a work of art
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him):
I am leaving among you two weighty entities: the Book of Allah and my Progeny, my Ahlul Bayt. They will remain inseparable until they meet me at the Pond of Kawthar. As long as you constantly adhere to both, you shall not go astray after my departure.
