These blessed days of Dhul Hijjah are filled with occasions that bring joy to the hearts of the believers: the marriage of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra
and Amir al-Mu’minin Ali ibn Abi Talib
, Eid al-Adha, Eid al-Ghadir, and the Day of Mubahalah. In the spirit of these blessed occasions, Sileh invites you to help young couples establish their first home and begin married life with dignity, stability, and hope.
“And among His signs is that He created for you spouses from among yourselves that you may find peace and comfort in one another, and He placed between you love and mercy. Indeed, in that are signs for people who reflect.” (Qur’an 30:21)
Many young couples are ready to begin their lives together, yet financial hardship prevents them from obtaining the basic necessities needed to establish a home. Essential items such as a bed, fridge, cooker, washing machine, and other household necessities can often be beyond their means.
Through this project, Sileh aims to ease this burden by helping newly-weds furnish their first home and take their first steps into married life with greater comfort and security.
By supporting a couple at the beginning of their journey together, you are helping to lay the foundations of a stable and loving family while sharing in the reward of assisting a marriage.
We invite you to participate in this project and help newly-weds establish their homes, insha’Allah.
