| 1 | Ali is the chief of the believers. |
عَلِيٌّ يَعْسُوبُ اَلْمُؤْمِنِينَ |
| 2 | Ali shines on the people of heaven. |
عَلِيٌّ يَزْهَرُ لِأَهْلِ اَلْجَنَّةِ |
| 3 | Ali and his followers are the victorious ones on the Day of Resurrection. |
عَلِيٌّ وَ شِيعَتُهُ هُمُ اَلْفَائِزُونَ يَوْمَ اَلْقِيَامَةِ |
| 4 | Ali is the master of successors and the successor to the master of prophets. |
عَلِيٌّ سَيِّدُ اَلْأَوْصِيَاءِ وَ وَصِيُّ سَيِّدِ اَلْأَنْبِيَاءِ |
| 5 | Ali is the light of Allah on His earth, and the proof of Allah for His servants. |
عَلِيٌّ نُورُ اَللَّهِ فِي بِلاَدِهِ وَ حُجَّتُهُ عَلَى عِبَادِهِ |
| 6 | Ali is from me, and I am from Ali and he is the guardian of every believer after me. |
عَلِيٌّ مِنِّي وَ أَنَا مِنْهُ وَ هُوَ وَلِيُّ كُلِّ مُؤْمِنٍ بَعْدِي |
| 7 | Ali ibn Abi Talib is my successor, my brother, my heir, my minister and leader of my nation after me. |
عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِب وَصِيِّي وَ أَخِي وَ وَارِثِي وَ وَزِيرِي وَ خَلِيفَتِي |
| 8 | Ali is to me as Aaron was to Moses. |
عَلِيٌّ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى |
| 9 | Ali is to me like my head is to my body. |
عَلِيٌّ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ رَأْسِي مِنْ بَدَنِي |
| 10 | Ali is with the Qur’an and the Qur’an is with Ali. |
عَلِيٌّ مَعَ اَلْقُرْآنِ وَ اَلْقُرْآنُ مَعَ عَلِيٍّ |
| 11 | Ali is Allah’s most Exalted Word. |
عَلِيٌّ كَلِمَةُ اَللَّهِ اَلْعُلْيَا |
| 12 | Ali is with the truth and the truth is with Ali. |
عَلِيٌّ مَعَ اَلْحَقِّ وَ اَلْحَقُّ مَعَ عَلِيٍّ |
| 13 | Ali is the divider of heaven and hell. |
عَلِيٌّ قَسِيمُ اَلْجَنَّةِ وَ اَلنَّارِ |
| 14 | Ali and love for him is faith, while hatred for him is kufr. |
عَلِيٌّ حُبُّهُ إِيمَانٌ وَ بُغْضُهُ كُفْرٌ |
| 15 | Ali’s obedience is my obedience, and his disobedience is my disobedience. |
عَلِيٌّ طَاعَتُهُ طَاعَتِي، وَ مَعْصِيَتُهُ مَعْصِيَتِي |
| 16 | Ali is the flag bearer of guidance and the shining light of faith. |
عَلِيٌّ رَايَةُ اَلْهُدَى وَ مَنَارُ اَلْإِيمَانِ |
| 17 | Ali is the best of people and whoever disagrees has committed kufr. |
عَلِيٌّ خَيْرُ اَلْبَشَرِ مَنْ أَبَى فَقَدْ كَفَرَ |
| 18 | Ali is the door to my knowledge and the manifester for my nation of what I have been sent for, after me. |
عَلِيٌّ بَابُ عِلْمِي وَ مُبَيِّنٌ لِأُمَّتِي مَا أُرْسِلْتُ بِهِ مِنْ بَعْدِي |
| 19 | Ali is the door of repentance and whoever enters [this door] is a believer. |
عَلِىٌّ بَابُ حِطَّةٍ، مَنْ دَخَلَ مِنْهُ كانَ مُؤمِنًا |
| 20 | Ali was the first to have faith, and the first who believed in me. |
عَلِيٌّ أَوَّلُ مَنْ آمَنَ بِي، وَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ صَدَّقَنِي |
| 21 | Ali is the prince of believers and the master of Muslims. |
عَلِيٌّ أَمِيرُ اَلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ سَيِّدُ اَلْمُسْلِمِينَ |
| 22 | Ali is the leader of piety and the destroyer of immorality. |
عَلِيٌّ إِمَامُ اَلْبَرَرَةِ وَ قَاتِلُ اَلْفَجَرَةِ |
| 23 | Ali is Allah’s sword on His enemies and the heir of His prophet’s knowledge. |
عَلِيٌّ سَيْفُ اَللَّهِ عَلَى أَعْدَائِهِ وَ وَارِثُ عِلْمِ أَنْبِيَائِهِ |
| 24 | Ali is my brother in this life and the afterlife. |
عَلِيٌّ أَخِي فِي اَلدُّنْيَا وَ اَلْآخِرَةِ |
| 25 | Ali will pay my debts and fulfill my promise. |
عَلِيٌّ يَقْضِي دَيْنِي وَ يُنْجِزُ مَوْعِدِي |
| 26 | All the knowledge that Allah bestowed upon me, I taught to Ali. |
ما مِنْ عِلْمٍ إِلاّ وَقَدْ عَلَّمْتُهُ عَلِيّاً |
| 27 | For whoever I am master, his master is Ali. |
مَنْ كُنْتُ مَوْلاَهُ فَإِنَّ مَوْلاَهُ عَلِيٌّ |
| 28 | Whoever is pleased to look at the master of Arab youth, let him look at Ali. |
مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى سَيِّدِ شَبَابِ اَلْعَرَبِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ إِلَى عَلِيٍّ |
| 29 | Each prophet had a trustee and heir, and my trustee and heir is Ali ibn Abi Talib. |
لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ وَصِيٌّ وَ وَارِثٌ وَ إِنَّ وَصِيِّي وَ وَارِثِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ |
| 30 | Each prophet had a companion whom he trusted with his secrets, and mine is Ali ibn Abi Talib. |
لِكُلِّ نَبِىٍّ صاحِبُ سِرٍٍّ وَ صاحِبُ سِرِّى عَلِىُّ بْنُ أبيطَالِبٍ |
| 31 | Every prophet had a close friend, and my close friend and brother is Ali. |
لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ خَليلٌ، وإنَّ خَليلي و أخي عَلِيٌّ |
| 32 | No one pays my debts except me or Ali. |
لاَ يَقْضِي عَنِّي دَيْنِي إِلاَّ أَنَا أَوْ عَلِيٌّ |
| 33 | No one will enter heaven unless he has permission from Ali ibn Abi Talib. |
لاَ يَدْخُلُ اَلْجَنَّةَ إِلاَّ مَنْ جَاءَ بِجَوَازٍ مِنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ |
| 34 | Whoever claims that loves me but hates you is a liar, O Ali. |
كَذَبَ مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّهُ يُحِبُّنِي وَ يُبْغِضُكَ يَا عَلِيُّ |
| 35 | There is no sword like Zu al-Faqar and no man like Ali. |
لاَ سَيْفَ إِلاَّ ذُو اَلْفَقَارِ وَ لاَ فَتَى إِلاَّ عَلِيٌّ |
| 36 | The title of a believer’s book is the love of Ali ibn Abi Talib. |
عُنْوَانُ صَحِيفَةِ اَلْمُؤْمِنِ حُبُّ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ |
| 37 | Close the doors of all houses to the mosque, except the door of the house of Ali. |
سُدُّوا أَبْوَابَ اَلْمَسْجِدِ كُلَّهَا إِلاَّ بَابَ عَلِيٍّ |
| 38 | Embellish your gatherings with the remembrance of Ali. |
زَيِّنُوا مَجَالِسَكُمْ بِذِكْرِ عَلِيٍّ |
| 39 | The first person who will reach me at the pond, and the first who became a Muslim, is Ali. |
أَوَّلُكُمْ وُرُوداً عَلَيَّ اَلْحَوْضَ أَوَّلُكُمْ إِسْلاَماً عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ |
| 40 | The first breach in Islam is opposition to Ali. |
أَوَّلُ ثُلْمَةٍ فِي اَلْإِسْلاَمِ مُخَالَفَةُ عَلِيٍّ |
| 41 | I advise those who have faith and believe in me to hold onto the guardianship of Ali. |
أُوصِي مَنْ آمَنَ بِي وَ صَدَّقَنِي بِوَلاَيَةِ عَلِيٍّ |
| 42 | The Sirat bridge has a checkpoint that one cannot pass except with permission from Ali ibn Abi Talib. |
إنَّ عَلَى الصِّراطِ لَعَقَبَةً لا يَجوزُها أحَدٌ إلّا بِجَوازٍ مِن عَلِيِّ بنِ أبي طالِبٍ |
| 43 | The first to pray with me was Ali. |
أَوَّلُ مَنْ صَلَّى مَعِي عَلِيٌّ |
| 44 | The first to enter heaven will be Ali ibn Abi Talib. |
إِنَّ أَوَّلَ أَهْلِ اَلْجَنَّةِ دُخُولاً إِلَيْهَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ |
| 45 | Allah has made the offspring of Muhammad from the loins of Ali ibn Abi Talib. |
إِنَّ اَللَّهَ تَعَالَى جَعَلَ ذُرِّيَّةَ محمد من صُلْبِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ |
| 46 | Allah commanded that I marry Fatimah to Ali. |
إِنَّ اَللَّهَ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُزَوِّجَ فَاطِمَةَ مِنْ عَلِيٍّ |
| 47 | Whoever wants to know the proof of Allah after me, needs to know Ali ibn Abi Talib. |
مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَعْرِفَ اَلْحُجَّةَ بَعْدِي فَلِيَعْرِفْ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ |
| 48 | The most knowledgeable in my nation after me is Ali ibn Abi Talib. |
أَعْلَمُ أُمَّتِي مِنْ بَعْدِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ |
| 49 | The most miserable person of times to come is the one who stabs you, O Ali. |
أشقَى الآخِرينَ الَّذي يَطعَنُكَ يا عَلِيُّ |
| 50 | On the Day of Resurrection, Adam will be proud of his son Seth, and I will be proud of Ali ibn Abi Talib. |
يَفْتَخِرُ يَوْمَ اَلْقِيَامَةِ آدَمُ بِابْنِهِ شِيثٍ وَ أَفْتَخِرُ أَنَا بِعَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ |
